Here are some of the foods I’ve enjoyed lately:
Oh my goodness you guys! These are really good. They’re vegan waffles with chocolate chips added to the batter. Then I heat up some frozen blueberries in the microwave for 2 minutes and pour it on top of a fresh off the iron waffle. We’ve been using this waffle recipe plus chocolate chips since we’ve been vegan but lately I’ve been wishing there was a simple topping one could add, cue the blueberries and there ya go! It’s so tasty it’s worth the blue tongue and teeth the blueberries may give you!
Latest Smoothie Crave
Lately I’ve been craving green smoothies a lot so I thought I’d try making a different smoothie with frozen banana. I cut up and froze 3 bananas, the next day I took most of them plus some pineapple, kale, and hemp seeds and made this super tasty green smoothie! It was so banana-y! Super delicious! After I finished making the smoothie I cut up and froze more bananas to keep making this smoothie combo, it was that good!
Okay I might be a little late to the date party, but nothing's wrong with being fashionably late right? I first bought dates when we went vegan but I wasn’t a huge fan of them because I bought a pack of pitted dates to try them. It took me a longgg time to finish the bag but when I did I bought another and that bag had a few super juicy caramel-y tasting dates. I was so surprised! After that bag I switched to the Royal brand, their dates aren’t pitted and they were/are SO amazing, I finally understood the date craze! Now I love dates and eat them on the daily! So if you’ve had dates before but weren’t a fan make sure you try UN-pitted dates first before you make your final verdict!
Everything Bagel With The Works
I could eat this every day! It’s so good! It’s a vegan everything bagel with onion, cucumber, tomato, and a touch of olive oil. SO tasty! The onion, cucumber, tomato, and olive oil is also amazing on regular toast, as shown in my Instagram picture! (my Instagram account is: @hidottielouise, just like Twitter :P)
I’ve just gotten into sushi in the last few months but now I’m hooked! At first I wasn’t a fan of the taste of seaweed but now I love it! This is plain rice, cucumber, and seaweed all rolled and cut up into these little tasty things with a side of sweet chili sauce.
